The Impact of SDOH on Fasting Glucose Levels and Diabetes Diagnosis

Abstract
Diabetes is a major health problem in America and around the world. In order to truly improve clinical outcomes for our patients we must consider SDoH. Understanding and leveraging the data we have regarding patients’ social determinants of health (SDoH) will help predict members with rising risk of developing diabetes as well as illustrate opportunities to execute targeted interventions. Using a publicly available dataset, this presentation will demonstrate statistically and visually from using this data. A recommendation will be made on ways to leverage the insights found.
