Abstract

During this session, participants will learn how to shape their scholarly career goals based on Boyer and Glassick's Definition of Scholarship. Participants will be provided with tools to initiate the steps to dissemination. Participants will generate strategies together for developing scholarship that are applicable to their fields.

Objectives:

1. Reflect on how scholarship fits into your career plan.

2. Define and describe scholarship in academic health sciences.

3. Develop a plan for turning your current work into scholarly projects.
