Dr. Awsare is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine/TJUH. He is the Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit/Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was awarded the Dean's Teaching Award for Teaching Excellence. His interests are critical care medicine and pulmonary embolism.
