	<p>Louisa Baxter, MB ChB, a 2009-10 Commonwealth Fund Harkness Fellow in Health Care Policy and Practice, is an NHS hospital doctor; she qualified in 2003 and is midway through her training to become a consultant physician and gastroenterologist. She has previously worked with the NHS Confederation Policy Unit on projects exploring differences in the provision of acute medical care and its ramifications on service design and the development of an evidence-based model of medical leadership.</p>
<p>Dr. Baxter has written and contributed to several books and peer-reviewed journal articles, and is a third generation NHS employee who was chosen to give the clinician’s address at the 60th Anniversary of the Health Service. She holds an MB ChB from the University of Manchester and a masters degree in management and governance with a special interest in international health policy from the London School of Economics.</p>

	<p>Anthony Gold is the CEO of Healthy Humans, a doctor-directed portal helping people with chronic illness lead healthier lives.  Healthy Humans is demonstrating superior health outcomes at reduced costs.  The underlying engines are built on many open source and Web 2.0 components.  Mr. Gold is also the President of the Open Solutions Alliance (OSA), a non-profit global organization focused on addressing the interoperability of open source amongst business infrastructures.  The OSA organization consists of over 20 members, including some of the most innovative open source companies.  Mr. Gold was also recently chosen to chair the Healthcare Working Group for the Open Source for America coalition.</p>
<p>Previously, Mr. Gold was created and served as Vice President and General Manager of the startup Open Source Business within the $6B Unisys Corporation.  He led a team of nearly 1,000 personnel distributed across 100 countries and built deep channels into several industries with particular emphasis on the US federal & state government, financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, and higher education sectors.  Prior, he ran all of hardware engineering for Unisys and invented the world’s first Intel mainframe, known as the ES7000.  The ES7000 set numerous records for performance and was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for hosting the largest number of concurrent gamers at the Dreamhack gaming conference in Sweden.  In addition to running this business, Anthony amassed eight patents around enterprise server design.</p>
<p>Mr. Gold is regularly invited to present keynote speeches around the world on the model of Web 2.0 and mass-collaboration.  He has helped many businesses and educational institutions transform themselves leveraging Web 2.0, mass-collaboration, and open source.  His executive blog on these topics is featured by many news agencies around the globe and is syndicated by Forbes for their “Business and Finance Blog Network.”</p>
<p>Mr. Gold sits on the Philadelphia Future Salon group to discuss the business implications of science and technology innovation.  He is chairman of the CIO Institute for the Eastern Technology Council, was selected to serve on Philadelphia’s Innovation Leadership Council, and is a guest speaker for the Society for Information Management (SIM).  He is also a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for the Technology Times, a bi-monthly publication that serves nearly 200,000 business leaders in the Philadelphia region.</p>
<p>Mr. Gold serves as a business consultant and board member for several firms in the Philadelphia region, including LiquidHub and Bluenog. He sits on the executive committee for the Chester County Healthcare Partnership, and is a guest speaker for the Chester County Economic Development Council.  Mr. Gold is an Advisory Board member for the Academy in Manayunk, an educational institution for children with learning disabilities.  He works with educational leaders around the world to help them better leverage technology and social networking to address the theme of “Education in the 21st Century.”</p>
<p>Mr. Gold graduated from Drexel University with a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering.</p>

	<p>Dr. Goldblum is Chief Medical Officer of Renaissance Medical Management Corporation, a 180- doctor primary care network in the Philadelphia suburbs. Renaissance has been designing and administering a Pay-For-Performance program for the past ten years. He also serves as the Medical Director of Gateway Medical Associates, a 30-provider primary care group in Chester County, Pennsylvania. He is a practicing geriatrician and internist.</p>
<p>Dr. Goldblum received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.  He completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.</p>

	<p>George Valko, MD is the Gustave and Valla Amsterdam Professor of Family and Community Medicine and Vice-Chair for Clinical Programs at the Department of Family and Community Medicine of Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He is also the Medical Director of Jefferson Family Medicine Associates and the lead Physician Advocate for the Jefferson University Physicians Electronic Medical Record Project. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and registered with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. He received his BS degree in Biology from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA and his MD degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia where he also completed his residency training.</p>
<p>He is a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, a member the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and other organizations, including Bridging the Gaps, a consortium of all Philadelphia medical schools that links the training of health and social service professionals with the provision of health-related services for underserved and economically disadvantaged populations. In addition to his service on multiple committees at Jefferson, which includes Chair of the Professorial Faculty Advisory Committee and President of the Jefferson Medical College Alumni Association, he was also a subcommittee member to the Chronic Care Commission of the Pennsylvania Governor’s Health Care Reform Commission.</p>
<p>Dr. Valko has lectured extensively on improving the clinical office environment for patient care and physician satisfaction as well as on resident teaching. He is known nationally for successfully implementing open access scheduling in an academic medical department and has lead workshops for other academic departments that are moving toward that goal. Along with implementing the electronic medical record at Jefferson, the improvements made in the Jefferson clinical office have earned his department the NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home designation, the highest ranking from that organization.  He is the author of several medical journal and book articles and is a peer reviewer for multiple medical journals as well as on the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Medical Quality.</p>
<p>His devotion to patient care and love of teaching are intertwined and have earned him honors such as the Jefferson Family and Community Medicine Residency Teaching Award and the JeffHOPE award for precepting at the Jefferson Medical College student-run homeless shelter clinics, as well as the “Top Doc” designation from  Philadelphia Magazine and “Best Doctors in America” from his peers.</p>
<p>Dr. Valko lives in Collegeville, Pennsylvania with his wife Cynthia, and although has no children of his own, is a devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews.</p>

	<p>Dr. Warning is the Program Director of the Crozer-Keystone Family Medicine Residency Program located in suburban Philadelphia.  Dr. Warning is the Faculty Chair of the Pennsylvania PCMH Collaborative for Family Medicine Residency Programs, the largest Residency Program Collaborative in the country, comprising 30 Family Medicine Residency Programs.</p>
<p>He is the Lead Physician in one of the first Patient-Centered Medical Home NCQA Level 3 (Advanced) certified Family Medicine Residencies in the country and is an active participant in the Improving Performance In Practice PA Chronic Care Collaborative project.  Dr. Warning serves on the Board of Directors of the Family Medicine Education Consortium and is past-Chairman of the Assembly of Program Directors and Department Chairs of the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians.  Dr. Warning also served as a reviewer for the American Academy of Family Physicians Road to Recognition PCMH Guide.</p>
<p>Dr. Warning attended Jefferson Medical College, completed a Family Medicine Residency Program at Lancaster General Hospital and received a Certificate of Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University.  Dr. Warning is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine.</p>

	<p>William Copeland, Jr., is the Practice Leader for Deloitte Consulting’s health reform initiative focused on serving client needs around the changes resulting from the Patient Care Act.   Mr. Copeland brings to his role more than 27 years of experience in the managed care industry serving more than 50 health plans in 40 different markets. He specializes in providing strategy, operations, turnaround and merger and acquisition services, and has worked with some of the Deloitte U.S Firms' largest health plan clients and on some of the most complex engagements in the health plan sector.</p>
<p>Mr. Copeland has worked with the boards of many public and not-for-profit health plans on strategic issues such as financial and operational turnarounds, future alignment, affiliations and mergers, and development of new businesses initiatives. He has also led several projects around corporate governance and new management processes that link strategy to metrics and board oversight.</p>
<p>Mr. Copeland’s experience also included starting a national physician practice management company through venture capital funding and strategic partner investments of over $100 million and managing the mid-Atlantic region for United Healthcare.</p>
<p>Mr. Copeland has served on the Finance Committee for the Board of Trustees of St Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana and is involved in CityYear, an AmeriCorps organization that provides leadership and teaching opportunities to youths 18-24 years old.  Mr. Copeland has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor's degree in psychology and economics from the University of Dayton.</p>

	<p>David Nash is the Founding Dean and the Dr. Raymond C. and Doris N. Grandon Professor of Health Policy at the Jefferson School of Population Health (JSPH) of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.</p>
<p>Dr. Nash is internationally recognized for his work in outcomes management, medical staff development and quality-of-care improvement.  Repeatedly named to Modern Healthcare’s list of Most Powerful Persons in Healthcare, his national activities cover a wide scope.  He serves as Chair of a National Quality Forum Technical Advisory Panel; is a member of the Board of Directors of the DMAA:  The Care Continuum Alliance and the American College of Surgeons Health Policy Institute; and was recently appointed to the ACP Clinical Guidelines Project.  Dr. Nash is a principal faculty member for quality of care programming for the American College of Physician Executives in Tampa, Florida, and is the developer of the ACPE Capstone Course on Quality.</p>
<p>Dr. Nash is a consultant to organizations in both the public and private sectors.   He serves on the Board of the West Virginia Medical Institute (WVMI), the Medicare QIO for Pennsylvania, and has chaired the Technical Advisory Group of the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council.   In December 2009, he was named to the Board of Directors for Humana Inc., one of the nation’s largest publicly traded health and supplemental benefits companies.  He recently was appointed to the Board of Main Line Health – a four hospital system in suburban Philadelphia, PA. From 1998–2008, he served on the Board of Trustees of Catholic Healthcare Partners in Cincinnati, Ohio where he chaired the Board Committee on Quality and Safety.</p>
<p>Through publications, public appearances, his blog and an online column on MedPage Today, Dr. Nash reaches more than 100,000 persons every month.  He has participated in more than 100 articles in major journals.  He has edited nineteen books, including A Systems Approach to Disease Management, Connecting with the New Healthcare Consumer, The Quality Solution, Practicing Medicine in the 21st Century and, most recently, Governance for Healthcare Providers.  From 1984 to 1989, he was Deputy Editor of Annals of Internal Medicine.  Currently, he is Editor-in-Chief of four major national journals including American Journal of Medical Quality, Population Health Management, P&T, and Biotechnology Healthcare.</p>
<p>Dr. Nash received his BA in economics (Phi Beta Kappa) from Vassar College; his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where he was recently named to the Alumni Council; and his MBA in Health Administration (with honors) from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  While at Penn, he was a former Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar and Medical Director of a nine-physician faculty group practice in general internal medicine.</p>
