Abstract

Purpose:

  • Examine the relationship between changes in parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) activity and sensory over-responsivity (SOR) pre/post yoga intervention.
  • Understand how SOR may affect adults in daily occupations, perceived roles, routines, and social participation.
  • Explore coping patterns among adults with SOR via the Adolescent Adult Sensory Profile and the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure.
