Obstetrics: The Science and The Art, by Charles D. Meigs, M.D.

Charles Delucena Meigs graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1817, and practiced medicine in Georgia and Philadelphia. He was elected professor of Obstetrics and Diseases of Women in the Jefferson Medical College in 1841, retiring in 1861. He died in 1869.
