Abstract

Mr. Silberg describes the vision, scope and vision of PCORI at this Forum. He shares an overview of PCORI’s criteria for assessing research proposals and its particular focus on patient engagement in research at this Forum. He also discusses PCORI’s approach to dissemination of research results, including those required by PCORI’s authorizing legislation, in light of the well understood challenges to dissemination and implementation of research.
