Abstract

Dr. Schwenk also serves as Vice President for Health Sciences and, prior to his current positions, served as Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan for 25 years. A distinguished physician, educator, and researcher, Dr. Schwenk is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine (formerly known as the Institute of Medicine), served on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Family Medicine, and is Deputy Editor of Journal Watch.
