5th Annual ACMQ National Workshop on Quality for Medical Education

Hosted by the ACMQ Student and Resident Section and the Jefferson School of Population Health, this interprofessional program was designed for medical students, health professions students, and residents interested in improving patient care and becoming a leaders in the healthcare system. The program included a key note presentation by Peter Angood, MD, MRCS(C), MCCM, CEO of the American Association for Physician Leadership. The full day program acovered topics such as undergraduate and graduate curriculum in quality; quality and safety in the urban environment; and the team approach to quality. Participants were given opportunities to participate in small group discussions on various topics of interest and panel discussions triggered questions and discussions on engaging in quality and careers in quality.
